Classes & Programs at SMI

Group Classes

Classes to help children who exhibit: low muscle tone, poor fitness, poor posture, auditory processing delays, language delays, perceptual motor difficulties, vestibular and proprioceptive abnormalities, poor directional awareness, delayed motor planning, visual processing delays.

Smart Fitness

Group classes ages 6-13 designed to develop strength, flexibility, balance, etc. Optimal for children who lack age appropriate physical fitness, and total body awareness.

SMILE


SMILE™ Provides a multi- sensory approach to academic, social, cognitive and motor learning.  The SMILE™ program is a half day program designed to serve as a preparatory program to Pre Kindergarten and Kindergarten, serving children who would benefit from a movement based, dynamic, multi- sensory learning experience.  The SMILE™ program curriculum areas includes gross motor, fine motor, Handwriting Without Tears®, Touch Math®, visual spatial skills, visual sequencing skills and motor planning skills.

SMI Camp


GMS summer camp program offers an intensive week of sensory-motor therapy.


Interactive Metronome


This program helps students maximize their potential by improving their performance in academics, athletics and performing arts.
