GMS Education and the Minds In Motion Academy (MIMA) invite you to join us for an Open House. During these events, Arousha Shahin, Director and co-founder of the Minds In Motion Academy, will be providing families with an overview of the Minds In Motion Academy (primary education for grades K-6) as well as an overview of Sensory Motor Integration, the unique methodology that supports students’ physical, academic and social needs.

For dates below (if applicable) that indicate “Open House/Open Gym,” your child is invited to explore one of the Minds In Motion gyms, with supervision provided by MIMA’s professional staff. Please note: if you are planning on attending on one of these special dates with a child, an RSPV is required so we can ensure appropriate levels of supervision. Please RSVP to aroushas@aol.com.

Arousha Shahin to Speak at Accessibility Summit on April 21

Arousha Shahin, Director of GMS Education and the Minds In Motion Academy, will be speaking at the this year’s Accessibility Summit in McLean, Virginia on April 21. Her talk is entitled “Rewiring the Sensory System” and will cover some of that latest research in sensory motor integration. We hope you will join us for this informative session.
